Neuroinflammation in Autism
A major effort in the Hooker Lab is to determine neurochemical dysfunction or abnormalities in patients with autism. Our most active effort is aimed at characterizing components of neuroinflammation that may contribute to the disease. Please see our volunteer page if you are interested in participating.
Learn more about austim by watching a documentary that we were part of that is available on Netflix.
We are looking to expand our work in autism to questions beyond neuroinflammation. Please help us raise pilot study funds that we can use to seek federal grants.
